Prachin Buri

Prachinburi, the boundary city far from Bangkok about 135 kms, used to be the land of properity in Dhavaravadi Kingdom until Lopburi Kingdom. Most of the attractions are natural attractions including National Park and beautiful cascades.

Attractions:

  • Tublan National Park

    Tublan National Park The last Fan Palm forest in Thailand. The flowers of the Fan Palms bloom at after their ages of 20. After the blossom, the Fan Palms die. Around the area, there is Haew Nok Kok Waterfall which is huge and beautiful. The overall Height is around 20 m. There is much water only in rainy season.

  • Takro and Saladdai Waterfall

    Takro and Saladdai Waterfall are located at Ban Takro. Takro Waterfall has wide islet. There is a robe bridge lies beyond the waterfall. On the right side of the waterfall is the sparse forest which good for recreation. From Takro Waterfall around 2 kms. Is the other waterfall, Saladdai Waterfall. This waterfall is very beautiful. To go sightseeing around the waterfall, tourists need to contact the national park’s officer.

  • Pracheenburi National Museum

    Pracheenburi National Museum was founded in order to be the hub of archaeological finds from 7 cities; Pracheenburi, Nakorn Nayok, Chachengchou, Conburi, Chantraburi, Trad, and Rayong. Most of the antiques here have been collected from Dhavaravadi Kingdom such as statues of Bhudda, graven images, lintels. The museum is opened daily from 09.00-16.00 except holidays.

  • Kaeng Hin Peung

    Kaeng Hin Peung, the beautiful stone islet, is part of Kawyai National Park no.9. It is located in Ampur Nadee. Here is the famous recreation point for rafting. The best time for rafting is in July to November. The rafting distance takes about 45 minutes. Tourists can enjoy camping in the area.
