Saraburi

Topography of Saraburi is normally cover by forests with hills and plateau. Saraburi has plenty of natural tourism locations. There are several historical attractions as well.

Attractions:

  • Prabuddhachai National Park

    Prabuddhachai National Park cover approximately 27,856.25 rai. The park remains abundant consisting of many attractive waterfalls such as the follows.

    • Samlun Waterfall is a wide stone field consisting of 3 layers of stone patio.

    • Poh Hin Dad Waterfall is one level waterfall. Visitors can enjoy swimming. The waterfall is 400 m. from the office of national park.

    • Kowruak reservoir is a small reservoir. Visitors can take a rest and enjoy beautiful scenery, or enjoy water sports such as kayaking and feet shoving boat.

    • KouDaeng Commemoration of Japan Army of world war 2 is historical tourism attraction. In world war 2, Japanese military seized KouDaeng Area for its military base, and used this area to imprison the prisoners of the war. Around the area, visitors can see the marks of bombs the Japanese military had left.

  • Prabuddhabaht Rajawarawihan

    Prabuddhabaht Rajawarawihan – The important sacred place is the footprint of the Buddha which is imprinted on the stone bar above the hillside of Suwanbanphot Mountain. The footprint of the Buddha is 21” wide x 60” long x 11” deep. There is Prabuddhabaht National Museum in the area of the temple. Precious antiques and relics such as King SongTham’s apparels, the duplication of the footprint of the Buddha are kept in the museum.

  • Sunflower fields

    Sunflower fields is located on route Pattananikom-Wangmoung. The best time to visit is in November and December of every year. Visitors will see endless yellow sunflower fields at sights.

  • Jed suonoi Waterfall

    Jed suonoi Waterfall (7 Young Ladies Waterfall) is 7 levels in descending order along watercourse. The height of the waterfall is about 4 m. Tourists can enjoy swimming.

  • Grape Farms

    Grape Farms are located in Ampur Muakhlek where tourists can drop by all year. Tourists can buy delicious fresh grapes and transfigured grapes if like.
