Chonburi (Pattaya)
The nearest seaside town from Bangkok, 90 km from Bangkok , located on the eastern of Thai gulf. Chonburi is the center of eastern of Thailand. This place is poplar for bangkokians who want to escape from hectic town to relax on the weekend.

Pattaya:
Pattaya is the city of Chonburi which is very popular for both Thais and foreigners. Pattaya is the most convenient driving location to Bangkok, one and half hours from Bangkok by car. You can also take bus from northeast bus station in Bangkok located on Phahonyothin Rd. Highly recommend to take a bus, comfortable and inexpensive. The most popular beach in Ao Pattaya is Haad Pattaya and Haad Jomtien, to the south of Haad Pattaya.-
Haad Pattaya
Curving around Ao pattaya , Haad pattaya is the city`s showcase stretch of sand.sporting legions of sunbathers, hordes of souvenir seller and, just offshore, swarms of buzzing jet skis and speedboats. Thee sand is reasonably clean here, the water is generally calm and there’s enough razzmatazz to keep even the most reluctant beachcomber entertained for some time : think Florida in southeast Asia. Thanon Haad Pattaya run along the beach and is lined with hotels, Shopping centres, seafood restaurants, nightclubs and towards the north, go-go bars. At the southern end of Haad Pattaya , walking street is a pedestrian area chock-a-block with restaurants and nightclubs. -
Haad Jomtien
About 1 km south of Pattaya, also have their own beaches, stretches for a sweeping 6 km and is considerably quieter than its northern neighbour, and tend to cater to a quieter, more family-oriented crowd. Many sports, goal-cart, bungie junping, horse riding, jet ski, banana boat, can be found here. Pattaya tower, all Pattaya beaches is viewed from this point, offers lunch Buffet at the top of tower moving around itself one round per 1 hour. You’re relatively removed from Pattaya’s sex scene at this beach, but some stretches of the promenade are looking a little washed out.

Koh Larn:
Koh Larn is the largest of pattaya’s islands, with whiter beach and clearer water than mainland. Public boat and speed boat are provided at the Ao Pattaya, 25-30 minutes by speed boat and 30-40 minutes by public boat. There are beautiful beaches, clear water, and an abundance of coral, Visitors can view the coral either from a glass-bottom boat or by diving down directly. Tiny coral island, just off Koh Larn’s coast, has some of the best snorkeling in Pattaya. Koh Larn’s biggest draw is Tawaen Beach., a wide expanse of white sand leading to turquoise water. The beach is filled up daily by tourists during the high season. A small area is roped off for swimmers, but most of the water is taken by jet skis, banana boat and speed boat . There are several other pretty beaches on Koh Larn, including Thieu Beach and Sanae Beach, but coral keep people from swimming.
