Koh Chang ( Elephant Island):
Koh Chang Natinal Marine Park is a collection of over 40 large and small islands. The island chain is situated in the Gulf of Thailand approximately 8 km from the coast of Trat province. The main island Koh Chang is measured nearly 30 km long almost 14 km wide. Koh Cahng is rapidly going the way of its southern cousins. A steady stream of development with loads more on the way promises lots of tourists, high prices, piles of garbage, and resort commercialism. But for the moment the island is still bursting with leafy rain forests, towering waterfalls, isolated beaches and unexplored territory on its eastern coast. A new road skirting the border of the island make it easier to access even the most remote patches of sand. Unfortunately, the amount of trash washing up on beaches and coral increasingly renders the water less swimmable. During the low season, prices are often slashed by 40% and the beaches are almost empty. There is frequent ferry service year-round, so anytime is perfect for a visit to this easternmost Thai Island.
Koh Kood:
Koh Kood, Second largest in Trat, is located at the very end of the Thai ea stern maritime territory bordering Cambodia. Koh Kood is the last Island in the Trat Sea Waters. Covering 105 square kilometers, it is the second biggest island of the province of Trat, after Koh Chang. There are many beaches on this island such as Haad Klong jao, Haad klong rah in, Haas plaw Which is a perfect destination for people who want to relax and enjoy with natural. The best time to visit in this island is November to the beginning of may.
Koh Maak:
Koh Maak is a big island which is between Koh Chang and Koh Kood that is blessed with several beautiful bays and beaches and coral reefs nearby that are still in perfect condition. Growing coconut trees and making rubber are main income for islanders. The best to visit is from November to April. 4-5 hours by taking a bus to Koh Maak. This island is another excellent destination for tourism to visit who seeking natural and quiet place.
