Haad Nai Yang:

Haad Nai Yang, 30km north of Phuket town, is well known as a site where sea turtles come to lay their eggs during the period from November to February. Nai Yang has become developed, but in a relatively low-key way, with around thirty open-air restaurant-shacks and beach bars set up along the beachfront road and the track that runs off it. A tiny tourist village of transport rental outlets, convenience stores, an Internet cafe and the inevitable tailor’s will be found here. The beach is fairly clean and fine for swimming.

Ao Bang Tao:

One of the Phuket’s longest beaches, the eight-km-long Ao Bang Tao is dominated by the upmarket Laguna Resort, an “integrated resort” comprising 5 luxury hotels set in extensive landscaped grounds around a series of lagoons. Swimming is an excellence activity in dry season, and at the bay's north end is a smaller bay, almost completely enclosed, at the mouth of which is some fine coral There’s free transport between the hotels, and for a small fee all Laguna guests can use facilities at any one of the 5 hotels.

Haad Nai Thon:

Located between Bang Thao Bay and Nai Yang Beach is the small but perfectly formed Haad Nai Thon, currently one of the least commercialized beaches on the island. This quiet bay nestled at the foot of high hills has a fine strip of the sand. The 500-meter-long gold-sand bay is shaded by casuarinas and surrounded by fields and plantations of coconut, banana, pineapple and rubber trees, all set against a dazzling backdrop of lush green hills. Nai Thon Beach can be reached by taking Thep Krasatri Rd. There’s good snorkeling at reefs that are easily reached by long tail.
